Beyond Disputes
There are other occasions whereby Cher can also be called to solve problems whereby the relationships between the parties need mending or whereby deeper matters (besides the monetary aspects) are at stake.
Cher’s role is to act as a ‘healer’ whereby party with the problems or crisis hire her to discuss their problems in exploratory and discovery ways to avoid going into disputes. Her experience in dealing with painful conflicts, and with her skills in facilitation in groups and mentoring with individuals, provides the necessary ingredients for helping party to avoid going into dispute or prevent issues turning nasty.
Furthermore Cher can add value for her client by crafting holistic solutions using her style of interaction and approach. With her client’s openness and willingness to explore other alternatives, she will look beyond the confine of dispute resolution. The outcome is to avoid going into disputes and if this is not avoidable, at least the personal stress that naturally comes with dealing with problems will be shared. Problems shared in an honouring manner in a healing space – crafted specially for the situation – means healing occurs faster which means any disputes are easier to cope and settle with more ease and less costly too.
Cher’s approach is based on her own personal and work experiences in having dealt with crisis and disputes in private settings and in the workplace. Besides these experiences she has particular interests in embracing challenges that comes with avoiding disputes especially those which are particularly emotionally draining and financially unnecessary.
